Lors d'un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de r\u00e9seautage \u00e0 Londres, j'ai rencontr\u00e9 un groupe de personnes et nous sommes all\u00e9s ensemble au bar \"The Alchemist\". Bien entendu, nous avons bu quelques verres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'un d'entre eux - appelons-le Harry - a discut\u00e9 avec deux femmes \u00e0 une table voisine, et moi-m\u00eame et deux autres messieurs l'avons bient\u00f4t suivi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry et l'une des femmes dialoguaient. J'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9couter, et bient\u00f4t le dialogue s'est transform\u00e9 en des propos de Harry tels que : \"Rien de ce que vous dites ne m'importe, je suis calme.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D'apr\u00e8s ce que j'ai compris, Harry a eu l'impression qu'elle l'accusait de mentir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La femme elle-m\u00eame disait des choses comme : \"Vous mettez un masque\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ils ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 tourner en rond, r\u00e9p\u00e9tant les d\u00e9clarations des uns et des autres, essayant d'une certaine mani\u00e8re de prouver leurs points individuels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au bout d'une dizaine de minutes, la femme a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 son compagnon de partir - ils sont pass\u00e9s \u00e0 une autre table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry s'est tourn\u00e9 vers moi et a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 expliquer qu'il aimait les femmes et qu'il lui disait la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 - qu'il \u00e9tait l'une des personnes les plus honn\u00eates, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je lui ai dit de laisser tomber et que, bien s\u00fbr, je sais et il sait qu'il dit la v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Mais que certaines personnes per\u00e7oivent les choses diff\u00e9remment et que c'est une perte d'\u00e9nergie que d'essayer de leur prouver le contraire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

J'ai observ\u00e9 ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne \u00e0 plusieurs reprises, lorsque deux personnes se disputent. Il s'agit souvent de certains sch\u00e9mas et points douloureux qui se d\u00e9clenchent, et de personnes qui tentent d'\u00e9viter la douleur qu'elles ont ressentie dans le pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a quelque temps, j'ai \u00e9crit le billet \"\u00c0 quoi ressemble le fait de ne pas se faire d\u00e9clencher ?<\/a>\". Imaginez \u00e0 quel point la conversation aurait pu \u00eatre diff\u00e9rente si cette femme et Harry avaient manquaient <\/strong>les d\u00e9clencheurs individuels - peut-\u00eatre auraient-ils pu rire de ce malentendu et se faire de nouveaux amis ce soir-l\u00e0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toute perception est un pari. Et elle est bas\u00e9e sur notre pass\u00e9, en grande partie. L\u00e2cher la douleur consiste \u00e0 se d\u00e9faire d'un pass\u00e9 douloureux en imaginant un pr\u00e9sent et un avenir plus \u00e9quilibr\u00e9s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
