De auteur heeft een goed punt door te zeggen dat we vaak <strong>onderschatten<\/strong> de inspanning die nodig is om een bepaald resultaat te bereiken. Wij geven dan op, gefrustreerd, omdat wij denken dat het resultaat niet haalbaar is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dating voelt zeker zo. Er zijn veel \"blindgangers\". Afspraakjes die zich niet ontwikkelen. Meisjes die niet terugschrijven. Een eerste geweldige connectie, en dan gebeurt er iets en dingen vallen uit elkaar. (Tussen haakjes, soms is dit te wijten aan hechtingsstijlen - dingen vallen uit elkaar OMDAT ze geweldig gaan! Mensen raken getriggerd door te veel nabijheid, en gaan zelfvernietigend \"beschermend\" gedrag vertonen). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ik heb besloten de regel van de auteur uit te proberen in een situatie waarmee ik momenteel te maken heb (ik heb voor een bepaalde situatie belastingadvies nodig voor de omgang met een Amerikaanse klant). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Een beroepsorganisatie heeft mij een lijst van belastingadviesbureaus verstrekt, die nuttig kan zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aanvankelijk koos ik de bedrijven uit waarvan ik dacht dat ze goed zouden passen. Ik belde, en kreeg meestal te horen dat ik een e-mail moest schrijven. In vele gevallen bereikte ik slechts een automatisch antwoordapparaat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit werkte niet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dus ik besloot om de 10x regel te proberen. Ik besloot AL deze bedrijven aan te schrijven. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hier zijn de resultaten, uitgesplitst in aantallen (percentages afgerond):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Totaal aantal bedrijven waarmee ik contact heb opgenomen: 23 (100 %)<\/li><li>gebroken e-Mail adressen: 1 (4 %)<\/li><li>automatische antwoorden buiten kantoor: 4 (17 %)<\/li><li>rechtstreekse afwijzingen: 1 (4 %)<\/li><li>doorgestuurd naar andere persoon: 2 ( 9 %)<\/li><li>schandalige prijzen: 1 ( 4 %) (NB: geen advies)<\/li><li>e-mails met nuttige adviezen: 3 ( 13 %)<\/li><li>e-mail met verkeerd advies: 1 (4 %)<\/li><li>geen (onmiddellijke) antwoorden: 10 (44 %)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Het lijkt een beetje op daten, nietwaar \ud83d\ude42 (Meestal geen antwoorden, af en toe een goudzoeker)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De uurtarieven varieerden van 500 USD als een vast bedrag, tot 1.120 USD per uur (voor een partner, berekend tegen het standaardtarief). Bij deze uurtarieven is een schatting tussen USD 2000 en USD 3000 begrijpelijk, helaas zou dit de volledige marge van het project zijn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sommige bedrijven gaven nuttig advies, sommige zelfs zonder een uurtarief aan te bieden of te proberen mij meer diensten te verkopen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interessant is dat het advies een beetje varieerde, net als de echte resultaten bij het daten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Slechts 13 % van de antwoorden waren direct bruikbaar voor mij. Waarschijnlijk zal ik op basis van die informatie kunnen handelen, zonder aanvullend advies te hoeven inwinnen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ik verklaar deze eerste test van de 10x regel tot een succes. Het kostte me niet veel tijd om het uit te voeren. <strong>Ik zou zelfs in staat zijn geweest om het te delegeren <\/strong>(kopi\u00ebren en plakken, en de namen veranderen). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ik kreeg veel sneller feedback van \"het systeem\" dan wanneer ik deze aanpak niet zou hebben geprobeerd - en ik zou waarschijnlijk veel meer tijd hebben verspild aan het proberen te bereiken van geselecteerde bedrijven, en hen steeds weer op te bellen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Op deze manier kan ik ook snel een selectie maken uit de <strong>\"winnaars\"<\/strong> die mij onmiddellijk waarde geven, en stoppen met het najagen van de \"duds\". Als ik in de toekomst fiscaal advies nodig heb, kan ik terecht bij deze bedrijven die snel reageerden en <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\">een beginwaarde <\/span><\/strong>al.
