Jag har bara haft en flickv\u00e4n hittills, och vi gjorde slut p\u00e5 grund av en nallebj\u00f6rn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det \u00e4r naturligtvis en \u00f6verdrift, det fanns andra fr\u00e5gor, men nallen var en symbol. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historien g\u00e5r s\u00e5 h\u00e4r: vi tr\u00e4ffades, dejtade, hade sex. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jag b\u00f6rjade dra mig tillbaka och hon b\u00f6rjade bli alltmer stressad p\u00e5 grund av detta. Hon f\u00f6rs\u00f6kte till exempel g\u00f6ra mig svartsjuk (\"vad tycker du om den h\u00e4r killen?\"), vilket inte fungerade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hon ber\u00e4ttade f\u00f6r mig att hon gillade Sarees n\u00e4r jag n\u00e4mnde att jag skulle resa till Indien. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jag gillar ocks\u00e5 Sarees (p\u00e5 kvinnor), men jag t\u00e4nkte inte s\u00e5 mycket p\u00e5 den kommentaren. Jag \u00e5kte till Indien och k\u00f6pte en nallebj\u00f6rn till henne, eftersom det snart var Alla hj\u00e4rtans dag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det skulle vara en \u00f6verraskning, men under ett videosamtal gissade hon vad som fanns i v\u00e4skan. Och hon var inte glad! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Jag ville ha en saree och allt du gav mig var den h\u00e4r lilla nallen!\". Vid den tidpunkten var jag fortfarande mer os\u00e4ker p\u00e5 mig sj\u00e4lv och p\u00e5 att s\u00e4tta gr\u00e4nser - s\u00e5 jag sa \"sj\u00e4lvklart inte\", gick ut och k\u00f6pte ett halsband. Det slutade med att vi inte tillbringade alla hj\u00e4rtans dag tillsammans - och jag gav tillbaka halsbandet; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om jag hade k\u00e4nd <\/strong>(eller f\u00f6rstod) att hon ville ha en saree, skulle jag ha gett henne en. Hon kunde till och med ha valt f\u00e4rgen!<\/strong> Explicit kommunikation, tack!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Och om hon gillar \u00f6verraskningar kunde nallen ha legat ovanp\u00e5 saren - och vi kunde ha haft en trevlig Alla hj\u00e4rtans dag med tv\u00e5 \u00f6verraskningar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00f6jligen finns det kulturella skillnader, och ja, kanske m\u00e5ste jag ur hennes synvinkel visa mig som en f\u00f6rs\u00f6rjare med h\u00f6gre materiella investeringar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men jag t\u00e4nker inte bli tankel\u00e4sare - det \u00e4r en farlig v\u00e4g att g\u00e5, och det finns massor av kvinnor d\u00e4r ute som inte beh\u00f6ver mig f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 en tr\u00e5d.<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nallen var en symbol f\u00f6r det som gick fel mellan oss - vi uttryckte inte v\u00e5ra behov f\u00f6r varandra och kommunicerade inte explicit. Nallen var en symbol f\u00f6r \"jag t\u00e4nker p\u00e5 dig\" fr\u00e5n min sida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Epilog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Senare, n\u00e4r vi redan hade gjort slut, f\u00f6rs\u00f6kte hon faktiskt \u00f6vertala en av mina b\u00e4sta v\u00e4nner att k\u00f6pa en saree till henne. Han f\u00f6rstod inte alls detta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
